    Shadow: a new Valo?

There's nothing new aside from some logos and the McFlyTop regression.

Will anyone buy this, or is a better story required?

Powerslide ought to hire a band of like-vintaged bladers to tour with Farmer. They'll swear allegiance in the light of illumination 4 life indie skater-owned, of course. The band will be called Shadow.

I’m actually curious what vintage skaters youre talking about? You check out Shimas and Jon Elliot’s grams? I would start by nominating them. Or you talking like band in crew for blades?

I wont be buying unless all the powerslide fangirls convince me I need that skate. I’m not sold at the moment as I can’t think of any reason why I will ever want to walk anywhere in that liner unless I wanted to be funny or something. And with that being said why do I need the skate if I’m not sold on a “walkable” liner. I never owned a pair of xjswyados so it’s not like I miss them or something.

I also think they kind of ruined a very unique thing by giving them a liner and trying to reduce the forward flex on the 2.0. To me that feeling of free motion between the base and cuff really drew me to the 2.0. I could position my tricks on the 2.0 like no other skate.
Now all that aside, one thing that really cant be forgiven is releasing a skate branded "Shadow" and not releasing the first edition in simple black (maybe white shock pad).

Metal plates are now where you mount the cuff and front frame screw. The plate in he back will prevent flexing, and breakage

Clearly this topic belonged in General Gossip, since it was a raving rant regarding new marketing efforts.

Vintage costume-laden bladers who'd play instruments in a band called Shadow and could do neg/cre-ative skating between tour stops. They'd host a weekly podcast, of course. Shima would be perfect. Maybe call the band Xsjado or Doop to create a disconnect, but they need to live the lifestyle to sell it. Maybe Farm owns Shadow now?

Sounds like another solution to a non-existent problem that'll make the souls less useful for alternate applications?
