    So, so sick.

How would someone with bigger feet and no knowledge of 3D printing go about getting some? Wait until someone else prints them and pay them?

Dude that's so sick. Huge karma to you for your hardwork, documentation and then sharing your work for free. That's an amazing thing to do.

Having skated some stock salos for a bit recently, I found the heel just impossible to work with - looks like it would be easy to mod the design for all the benefits of the extended heel and still keep some elements like the stock groove. Amazing work mon frere.

Looks good - nice work and props for releasing files. Will be obtaining Salomon boots to try your souls, heh. Have you printed them in ABS yet? We should start an OT open hardware thread. I may have some things to add :nonfunctionalemoticon:

            Wow thank you!
I remember JJ talking about the Salo mold on the podcast, but he never said why he didn’t pick it.

The mold was never in china and apparently has been destroyed. Salomons were first made in Romania and then moved somewhere else...but never in China.

Funny how Salomon and Roces are arguably the most solid, well made skates and neither were made in China.

Cool shot with the French Salomons there. I knew about those. Didn't know about Oxygens, but that definitely backs up my claim about the most solid skates are made outside of China! haha. Those things were tanks! Aldo where did you get that 'Roces made in China' box shot from?!

Well, at least the frames were made in France.
I took that picture in my cellar.

                                So, St0's huh?

                                  What about some retrofit engineering...

I would love to see Drake (the richest 'blader' on earth) invest his money in buying Salo boots and recreating the molds based on those still existing blades... (just dreaming lol)

Just wondering if this would technically be possible?

Julio talked about how some TV Valos were made in china. Those ones were a bit cheaper, but I'm not 100% sure if he meant the skin or the plastic part of the skate, or both.

Recreating the boots in CAD would be the "easy" part :

I had a pair of black TV2's that were up there with some of the best skates I've ever had. Got some white TV2's after that and they felt completely different and horrible, ruined my ankles and I had to get rid of them!

I found the factory in Romania that made them, and they've been really helpful.
