This board is dead and it makes me sad. There must be a maximum of 10 people (at a push) who show up here semi-frequently.

    That's just short term though.

Life sucks and time heals nothing. Living your life in an authentic way is all that really matters. I bottle that stuff away and bury it, I applaud you for moving on from anything less than your best.

You seem to have a very open mind about this. I tend to shut myself off from the world all day every day, it can get too much to deal with very fast. Its no surprise you tricked yourself into thinking that. 13 years is a long time to convince yourself of anything, the mind is way too powerful sometimes. We can make ourselves believe anything we want if we repeat it to ourselves enough.

Im glad you can share it, even if its on the cess (slide) pool of Be-Mag

I wish you all the best man!

Are you going to be at WYII? Because I can tell you right now that I haven't sorted my life out and I still smoke like a chimney.

I've also dropped from 245 lbs. to 215 lbs. due to a pretty wild bout of depression about a month back. There was no appetite to speak of, sometimes only eating a few bites of food per day, and I jumped up to 2 packs of smokes per day. Most of my clothes don't fit me anymore.

I'm a bit of a fucking mess, but I'm hopeful that when the divorce is settled I can find a woman who makes me genuinely happy.

The WYII Woodward East trip is just a few weeks away and that's the only bright spot on my horizon for the immediate future.

Last year I had hurt my back a month or so before the trip and didn't get to skate very much. This year I have been taking great care of my back so I hope to skate for more than a few minutes on my 3rd (and probably final) trip to Woodward.

Just moved to Cincinnati. Haven't skated in years. Have a pair of blades that are sitting in a closet, somewhere. I watch more skateboard edits (usually strobeck and the nyc dudes) than blading but there are a few dudes on Instagram who are killing shit: dima_markrushin, this_is_egor_loginov, stephen swain, and robdaltonskate. Those dudes and the Japan crew are the only people who I pay attention to. They seem to actually give a fuck about what their skating looks like and aren't just flailing around like idiots.

Fuck, I try to post here still, but there's no real reason anymore. I've been traveling Europe for a month MC'n blade contests and running Blade Club Originals. Right now I'm working on some upgrades for our second run of backpack production, getting samples for the wallet we designed, and trying to slang these neon pink wheels. Lucky enough to be doing it all from the Athens Blade House at the moment.

Still here- creeping mostly and a post every now and again.

Moved to Hawaii last year from Wisconsin, started skating more, and linked up with the Aloha Blade Crew.

Trying to get into medical device sales out here.

    Been a solid transition .

I work as a PA at a movie studio and rec/urban skate when I can. I have too many chronic back injuries to skate aggressive unfortunately. I follow blading thoroughly on social media and go to blade cup every year.
