    ND filters

so, with my new GH1 my super cheap variable ND filter became unusable, the image is super soft with it. i need something, but i don't want to spend a tons of money. i was looking at variable ND faders, but the good ones that don't soften the image too much are too expensive for me. but regular, non adjustable ND filters are not that expensive, and they don't soften the image too much. so what should i do? buy an adjustable fader that sucks, or buy like 3 regular NDs? i have 60-70$ to spend.

I went with separate Hoya HMC filters, which from the research I did are the most affordable filters that don't suck.

I would say get an ND4 and and ND8 if your fastest lens is f2.8.
