Guest repliedI need to sift through about 4,000 photos from my vacation from Poland, but here's one that I've had the time to upload:
Natural light, very little editing except for slight white balance adjustment, a tad bit of vibrance and recovery.
35mm
f/3.2
1/100 sec
ISO 320

P.s. Photographing people "off the street" is a good way of gaining some extra people skills, I first started doing it about 3 years ago and it's somewhat daunting at first but break the ice, repeat, make mistakes and you come out the other side way better. I know photographers who have the best personalities but photograph inanimate objects and are too wimpy to speak to strangers; get started, people...puts you under pressure, a sometimes awkward situation, you have to work at a quick pace and really know your gear.. and youre the master of that ship.

i walked out into the water till i was almost chest deep to get the look of being right on the water, shit was awesome, taken before hurricane isaac hit the florida keys. we camped by the beach that night and got shit faced on good beer on the beach right where i took this.
also no editing because fuck that shit.
my favorite photo of my trip, some dude not giving a fuck how windy it is and just fishing shit up in the sunset. i asked to take his photo as he fished, but his english was shitty so i snapped away, i thought it was fucking cool

Shot this at 10 AM with the sun behind and to the left of me for rim.
I had a shot shoe tree to my right as key.

Wow, can I just say how much I appreciate the detail you used to show us how you shot this.
Further more, I would love to pick your brain in regards to fashion photography if you wouldn't mind?
