Yes, gotta get that. I have 8 EN-EL3e batteries, 3 chargers, a slew of CF cards, and grip of rechargeable AA batteries. Can't have that shit clacking around or taking up valuable space within the foam.

with the foam inserts, brand new: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pelican-1600...item4d01e0324f

with the foam inserts, used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pelican-1600...item3f192eb787

I'd jump on the used one, most of the foam is intact. I bought mine use for $85, and only altered it a little to accommodate my gear.

I'm getting a slightly smaller one for carrying onto a plane, the 1510 model. Having a retractable handle and wheels will help when lugging gear around, anyways.

@fasteddie, do you think that I could fit a broken down Glidecam HD-2000 in that thing, with my camera and a few lenses?

Maybe one day UNICEF will sponsor me and line my pockets with flush amounts of cash, but until that day, I gotta make due with what I can justify/afford. Padded dividers are about 1/2 of a case with foam. Foam is fine, I don't really like my stuff to move around very much.

I don't know for sure, but I think so. The dimensions for a 1600 case are:

                  Interior Dimensions: 21.43" x 16.50" x 7.87" (54.4 x 41.9 x 20 cm)
                  Exterior Dimensions: 24.25 x 19.43 x 8.68in (61.6 x 49.3 x 22 cm)

Breakdown the glidecam and do the math.

Got one just now in preparation for my trip to Poland. $160 shipped, brand new

                                  Thanks, UNICEF!

And, I picked up a Manfrotto Super Clamp. Yesterday, I discovered how to remotely synch 2 strobes with only 2 PocketWizard Flex TT5s (one on-camera and one on an SB-600 with an SB-700 in SU-4 mode).

My work gave me an On Stage SB9600 tripod studio boom mic stand, and the threads fit standard 1/4" flash mounts perfectly. Now I have an articulating flash stand that I can hopefully use when I need a hair light. Hooray for free shit!

And I picked up 2 more B800s, I got them in white because I pop those terrible graphics on the side of the flash unit off with a screwdriver and I'll know theyre B800s(320w/s max) and that my B1600s(640w/s max) are black.

Picked up a spare transmitter and another 3 receivers too.

                                                            Started using DSLR about 8 months ago after getting rid of my GL2. Right now I have;

                                                            - Canon T1i

                                                            - 50mm f1.8
                                                            - 75-300mm 4-5.6mm
                                                            - Rokinon 8mm Fisheye
                                                            - Yongnuo Speedlite YN560
                                                            - Zeikos handle
                                                            - Dynex tripod

I want another newer body eventually but it'll wait.

What I need is a stabilizer.. How do you guys like the Glidecam nano??? saw a couple guys having it here.

Hey Chris Duke congrats on the new baby. I am always taking photos. Things like weddings, kids, family's,events & sometimes fashion/catalog stuff. I have a studio where I live that is always setup with multiple setups and lighting gear and camera gear etc. Then I always have travel gear as well. I know there are some great photographers on be-mag that work as photographers so I am sure they know what I am saying. If its your business/lively-hood then the money you put into your business you end up getting back plus more its just a matter of how long depending on the business.
