FPS and formatting in multiple formats in Final Cut Pro?

Im trying to make an edit with multiple kinds of media like Avi, MP4, MOV some are HD some are SD. My question is do all the clips need to have the same format/Size/Kind?
I have already imported some of the footage through the Aplple codec in FCP but then some of my other footage is from my SLR and one is from my friend.
One is 1920x1080 at 29.97 fps Apple ProRes 422 and the other is 1280x720 at 24fps H264 and the other still is 720x480 at 29.97 DV/DVCPRO NTSC.
SO what should I do Reencode all of them so they are all the same size and fps or can I leave some?
I have a video converter so I could do that I just don't know what conversion to use and what size and format.
Ill be putting this on Vimeo and Youtube

    Thanks for the help
