vx's are garbage sry.... had 2 of them both shit it after only 1 year of use.

Get a 550D/ T2i and shoot in SD.

DVX's are sick, but have shit low light capability. VX2100 is the state of the art vintage while still maintaining cred with your peers.

GL2's are garbage, go with the VX1000 and grab an MK1 with it. To the person that said they are getting an MK2 for a VX1000, haha.

at least get the gl2 if you are going to go SD. the prices are nearly the same. i just sold my gl2 for 500, plus a nice ass back pack bag, lots of tapes, raynox fisheye lens, and more.

the vx1k. you can put an mk1 on it, better more natural colors. they arent even close to the same price, they go for like 650ish now and gl1s are like worthless. blahblahlbalah skateperception.com

with the .3x the vx is wider. gl1 tends to get real grainy easily.

i filmed with a gl1 for a little bit, but since then i would never choose a gl1 over a vx. both get head problems pretty easy though, if you have the money my favorite sd camera is the dvx.

im getting a vx1000 for 100 pounds and then a mk11 death lens for 150 such a bargain for an amazing camera! The sound is brilliant but they are quite bad at night compared to the vx2000 which is improved but i say the vx1000 is best!

yeah ive been doing some research and vx is clearly better and a little more expensive

i like the vx better, i used to have a gl2 before i got my dvx and wasnt such a fan of the audio from the gl, just didnt sound right
