    Baltimore MD area...

Hi, I saw a thread dating back to late 2015 and felt that's probably too old to resurrect from the dead. Anyone still skating within a reasonable drive of Baltimore? I'm kind of peeking around for places to hit up and work on getting back lost skill from my decade long break. I never stopped snowboarding so my balance isn't all lost haha! ...but I really don't feel like meeting up with skateboarders and being the subject of never ending belittlement haha. I get that it's not for everyone but it is what I like. I don't want to hit up Charm City skate park until I got some ability back and I feel confident regardless of the old "fruit boot" jokes ...because I'm doubtful anyone uhhh what's the preferred verbiage now a days? Aggressive inlines at that park? I know a few guys that skateboard there so I would like to not be a total joke in my ability before I go...

If you're on FB look up "MD Rollerbladers". There's a few guys up towards Baltimore.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I quite literally don't know of any of the regular spots here since I moved here and kind of gave up skating as a result

Yeah there are some people in Baltimore or the Baltimore area but most barely skate. Most of the dudes that skate regularly live like 30 minutes to a hour or more away. Definitely try "MD Rollerbladers" and " NoVa Skaters" on facebook to link with people in Baltimore. I live in Philly but come down to Baltimore and the DC area often. I almost always skate when I do.

Im in the baltimore area but havent skated in awhile either. There is a small park in bel air that has Woodward designed ramps that I go to. Its outdoor, and not very crowded. $3 to get in and you need helmet.

Nice, I'll have to check that out some day. I only got to go out 3 times before I ruptured another disc in my back. I can finally walk and stand up straight again so I'm figuring another week or 2 and I'll be looking to get out skating again.

I'm not hugely familiar with Bel Air, where about is it? Or would you happen to have a name? Thanks!
